Connecting with the Female Pelvic Floor in Yoga

For such a sacred part of our bodies there is far too much mystery and misinformation out there for women when it comes to our pelvic floor. When we feel connected to our pelvic floor, we feel empowered.

This workshop offers a safe space to share, discuss, and learn more. All ages welcome.

Dye Workshop ($15)

Come join us for a fun workshop, learning about printing on fabrics with natural dyes. As part of the Yoga Zanzibar Festival, Domi will guide you through the basics of natural dyeing and how to decorate and dye your own tote bag.

 

The workshop will include:

  • Design your own print and/or fabric folding techniques

  • Dye your own bag to take home

  • How to extract colour from plants in a dye vat

  • How to prepare fabric for dyeing

  • Set yourself up to continue your natural dye journey in your own kitchen

  • Sharing experiences and knowledge from Domi

 

Price:

$15 to cover the cost of the bag and dye.

Coral Reef Restoration Lecture

This presentation explores the importance of coral reefs, the challenges they face, and the innovative restoration efforts being implemented in Zanzibar. From coral gardening to community-driven conservation initiatives, we will highlight sustainable solutions and the role of local and international collaborations in protecting these fragile ecosystems for future generations.

New Moon Circle

Join us for a magical New Moon Circle – a sacred space to celebrate the cycles of nature and our bodies, set intentions with the moon,  and reconnect with your inner self through movement and community.

 

Under the energy of the new moon, we will gather in a circle to reflect, share, and plant the seeds of new beginnings. Through guided meditation, journaling, and intention setting, we will align our energies with the lunar cycle. Then, we will step into free-flowing dance, allowing our bodies to move intuitively, releasing blockages and inviting fresh energy into our lives.

 

This experience is open to all – no dance experience is needed, just a willingness to explore, move, and embrace the power of the moon and music.
